Barbara Albert

Barbara is the Co-CEO 100% Renewables Pty Ltd, speaker, podcast host of the Driving Net Profit with Zero Emissions show and award-winning author of ‘Energy Unlimited – Four Steps to 100% Renewable Energy.

She is passionate about business and sustainability and believes that reaching net-zero emissions is achievable and great for the bottom line when done right. She guides and educates business leaders by translating science to a clear business strategy that helps them achieve net-zero emissions profitably.

She believes in the importance of sharing stories of organisations leading in climate action so that others can learn from their experience. She does this by presenting, writing, creating videos and podcasting.

Barbara is a preferred supplier to Governments, sits on a number of advisory boards, and is recognised in the Clean Energy Council’s ‘Women in Renewables’ Speakers Guide. In 2019, she received the Energy Leaders Inspiration Award. Her book “Energy Unlimited” was named one of the top 10 sustainable and renewable energy books in the world.

She has a Master’s degree in Commerce through her studies in Vienna and New York, and is a World Bank Accredited City Climate Planner.

Patrick Denvir

Patrick has more than 25 years experience in energy efficiency, renewable energy and carbon management consulting, across strategic, policy and technical areas. Patrick co-founded 100% Renewables in 2015 to help leading organisations transition to clean energy. He is a preferred supplier for the NSW, ACT and Federal Government and a trusted advisor to several local Government jurisdictions.

Prior to being a director at 100% Renewables, he ran his own business, Patrick Denvir Consulting. Before that, he held a number of senior technical and management roles at Energetics Pty Ltd over a 15 year period, including General Manager Consulting and Principal Consultant for Energy Efficiency and Government Policy.

Patrick holds a Masters’ Degree in Energy Utilisation, which focused primarily on renewable energy technologies, nuclear power and low-emissions thermal energy generation such as cogeneration and combined cycle generation.


Nicolas François

Nicolas is our Manager – Net Zero Business Transformation. With a Master of Environmental Management in addition to his MBA, Nicolas combines his academic knowledge with 15 years of consulting and project management experience in the field of procurement and business transformation to support the successful delivery of sustainability focused programs.

Nicolas excels at working collaboratively with stakeholders to bring together diverse sensibilities into meaningful sustainable outcomes. Nicolas has a multicultural background with a proven ability to seamlessly join complex team environments and deliver projects at local, regional, and global level.

Nicolas is currently being certified as Climate Active registered consultant.

Nicolas holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Management from UNSW and an MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Cincinnati. He also completed several project management courses and is an ISCA certified practitioner.


Angela Cooney

Angela is our Manager – Net Zero. She is an experienced Business, Facilities, Environment and Sustainability Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the environmental services industry. She is skilled in sustainability, waste and energy projects, communication, operations, environmental solutions, environmental issues, environmental compliance and remediation.

Prior to joining 100% Renewables, she held a number of management and senior roles at Veolia over a 15 year period, including Resource Recovery Facilities and Remediation Manager and Sustainable Solutions Manager.

Angela sits on the board for Zero Emissions Noosa, and the Australian Institute of Energy, Sunshine Coast, Committee and has previously chaired the QLD Waste Management Association of Australia (WMAA) Waste Educators Group and was a member of the QLD WMAA Committee.

Her specialties include:

Angela is currently studying for a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of the Sunshine Coast. She holds a Graduate Certificate of Business Administration from the University of the Sunshine Coast and a Diploma of Environmental Science from the Southern Cross University.


Michaela Tymichova

Michaela is our Senior Consultant – Net Zero Engagement. She is an accomplished professional with over 20 years of experience in industrial research & development, renewable energy and environmental sustainability, business development and training. Her sector experience includes manufacturing, scientific/tertiary education and engineering.

Michaela excels at engaging and communicating with a diverse customer base. Prior to working for 100% Renewables, she had multiple roles across different industries and organisations. Most recently, she worked in a business development role focused on adult training and education for solar PV.

Michaela holds a PhD in Polymer Coatings from the University of Wollongong, an MSc in Material Science and Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania (USA) and a Masters degree in Microelectronics from the Institute of Chemical Technology (Czech Republic). She also holds a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, is PRINCE 2 – certified, and undertook a marketing & management course at the University of Wollongong.


Leslie Mathew John

Leslie is our Senior Renewable Energy Engineer. He brings with him a wealth of experience working with large energy users, providing technical and implementation knowledge in designing and constructing renewable energy solutions.

Leslie is currently being certified as Climate Active registered consultant.

His specialties include:

Leslie holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering – Renewable Energy from Australian National University in Canberra and has completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering – Aerospace Engineering from Jain University in India. He also holds an accreditation from the Clean Energy Council to design grid-connected photovoltaic systems.


Bonny Cyriac

Bonny is a Senior Renewable Energy Consultant with over eight years of experience in power transmission and renewable energy projects, including a patented hydrogen storage system called LAVO. He has extensive experience modelling and designing commercial and utility-scale solar PV systems.

Bonny holds a master’s degree in Engineering – Renewable Energy from the Australian National University in Canberra and a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering – Electrical & Electronic from the University of Bradford. He is a Clean Energy Council accredited designer of grid-connected photovoltaic systems. His other certifications include MIEAust: Professional Engineer by Engineers Australia, National Engineering Register (Aus), RPEQ – Practising (Queensland) and Architecture and Systems Engineering: Models and Methods to Manage Complex Systems (Massachusetts Institute of Technology).


Javier Rosas Echeverria

Javier is our Renewable Energy Engineer. As a multidisciplinary engineer, he offers a high level of technical knowledge in electrical, mechanical, thermal, electronic, energy, automation, chemical and other types of engineering. He brings with him a wealth of experience working with large energy users, providing technical and implementation knowledge in designing and constructing renewable energy solutions.

Javier is currently being certified as Climate Active registered consultant.

Joseph Gregorio

Joseph is our Lead Analyst and Energy and Carbon Consultant. He oversees our analyst team, is the lead technical consultant for Climate Active projects and technical lead of our tool development. He specialises in developing carbon inventories, net-zero roadmaps and energy management business cases. He is a Registered Consultant for Climate Active Carbon Neutral Certifications for organisations, products and services, precincts, and events.

Joseph is currently taking Master of Energy Systems at the University of Melbourne. He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and graduated Magna Cum Laude.


Theresa Banta

Theresa is our Energy and Carbon Consultant, with specific experience in energy management and project development in the waste-to-energy sector. Her expertise includes the design and development of circular economy initiatives related to waste management and energy efficiency, both with startups and large corporates.

Theresa is an experienced consultant in delivering Climate Active and is currently undergoing certification as a registered consultant.

Theresa holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering – Energy Engineering and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering.


Rohit Kulkarni

Rohit is our Energy and Carbon Data Analyst. An exceptionally creative and resourceful Graduate Electrical Engineer who offers a high level of technical knowledge in solar designing and energy and carbon data analysis.

Rohit holds a Master’s degree in Environmental Science and Technology from RMIT University and is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Adelaide. He also completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Technology (Electronics and Telecommunication) and an MBA (Technology) from NMIMS University.


Monn Baldeo

Monn works for 100% Renewables as an Energy and Carbon Data Analyst. His work experience includes sustainability, greenhouse gas accounting, stakeholder engagement, power plant technology and other engineering roles. He brings with him a wealth of experience working with organisations in power generation, air transport, food processing and the commercial sector.

Monn’s key skills that he brings to this role, include:

Monn has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.


Daryl Cielo

Daryl works for 100% Renewables as an Energy and Carbon Data Analyst. His study and work experience includes net zero buildings, power plant technology and other relevant engineering roles. He has worked across research, teaching and project management disciplines, both in the Philippines and in New Zealand.

Daryl’s key skills that he brings to this role, include:

Daryl holds both a Masters and a Bachelors Degree in engineering.


Jade Gonzales

Jade is one of our Energy and Carbon Data Analysts, with specific experience in hardware design in the automotive electronics industry. He has an extensive background in the design and development of metal and plastic structures, heat sinks, and PCBs.

His specialties include:

  • Measurement analysis
  • Computer-aided design and modeling
  • Design evaluations
  • Thermal, structural, and resonance computer-aided simulations
  • Manufacturing and hardware prototyping

Jade has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.


Estrella (‘Star’) Dorado 

Star is our Executive Assistant to the Co-CEOs. She is also our lead researcher, marketing & branding coordinator, and video and podcast producer. Prior to this role, she was the Sales and Admin Lead for an Australian Custom Wear Company, where she was the brand manager of a portfolio of products, including sportswear and personal care brands.

  • Project coordination
  • Video and podcast production
  • Executive assistant

Star has a Bachelor of Science in Clothing Technology and graduated as Cum Laude.


Regine Baltazar

Regine is our Marketing and Design Coordinator. She is helping the team with marketing-related initiatives and with maintaining our brand positioning. She has experience in corporate social responsibility projects, stakeholder engagement, marketing campaigns and brand initiatives execution, as well as corporate services.

Regine has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology and is a Certified Digital Marketer.
